About Me

Michael Turner is passionate storyteller and visual artist with a gift for capturing moments that resonate. 

 

Michael's portfolio has grown with his work experience; photographing sports, events, portraits, automobiles, and the outdoors for a variety of clients. His work has been published by institutions and organizations such as The Wall Street Journal, MSN, St. Olaf College Magazine, Carleton College News, CAA Baseball, and MIAC Athletics among others. Michael has worked with clients including St. Olaf College, Carleton College, and Hill-Murray High School among others.

Michael is also a contract photographer for ZUMA Press Wire. Michael has photographed Minnesota sports and news  as credentialed media including MLS, PWHL, MiLB, UFL, and NCAA Division I athletics. His work has been recognized by the University Photographers' Association of America and the ZUMA Press Wire with many of his photos appearing in ZUMA's "Picture of the Day" honors.

Michael is a graduate of St. Olaf College, with a degree in Film and Media. He continues to utilize his video skills by developing long and short form content for a variety of clients to promote their businesses and organizations online.

In his personal time, Michael loves to go plane spotting, find new places to eat, and spend quality time with friends and family.
